Medical decisions are in the hands of doctors. Payment for those services, on the other hand, I have no problem letting someone else cover the bill in exchange for a slight bump in taxes which is lower than private insurance premiums.

It's relevant because rather than post a recent picture showing them together as a family, on a day that most people spend with their family, they recycled a 2 year old picture. You're in a thread about it.
Why, oh why would Obama be using a family picture from Easter 2015 insinuating it was taken today at Thanksgiving??

This is another one of those pieces where people imply gender fluidity is mandatory. It’s not. If you’re comfortable with your birth gender, good for you. That doesn’t give you the right to suppress people who aren’t comfortable with theirs. Likewise, celebrating gender fluid folks as brave strong shouldn’t be so prevalent, and it wouldn’t be without intolerant people trying to suppress their right to be themselves. We need to find a way to reach a point where no one cares. We need to stop emphasizing our differences (from both sides of these issues) and just let each other live our own lives. Stay out of other people’s genitals, and keep your genitals out of their face.

Freedom of speech is something the government gives you. Other people DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT have to listen to a word you say. The government doesn't own Google, the government doesn't own Facebook. If you don't like either of those don't use them.
Why hasn't CNN or FOX said a single word about net neutrality? If anyone, shouldn't CNN say something since it would make Trump look bad?

This is raw unminted gold in the story. It had no face value. If I dig it out of the ground myself then who cares if I keep it or not? In our story the result was they just stopped producing gold and did something else.

At the time US currency was gold-backed... so it was exactly the stated face-value. And no, check the date. This was a panic due to the great depression. The government didnt want people to hoard gold.
